Job Description:

We are seeking an extremely motivated Manager with ability to lead a team and oversee the successful day-to-day operations of the 17th avenue restaurant with the desire to grow and expand with the company. This dynamic position requires solid management experience in the food services industry along with understanding of financial management and accountability. He/she will also be a key person helping the ownership team in developing the concept further; to plan and implement the expansions to future locations including recruiting and training of key personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency along with food safety compliance
  • Oversee staffing - hiring, training, payroll review, performance management and scheduling of staff
  • Manage inventory and daily stock
  • Handle daily cash, deposits and paperwork
  • Interact with customers and staff
  • Maintain financial goals, including budget analysis and growth forecasting
  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures at both the local and corporate levels
  • Future duties may include:
    • Project management
    • Research and business development
    • Operational directives


Official Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in the food services industry
  • Post-Secondary Education in Restaurant Management and/or Business
  • English communication skills: must be proficient in both oral and written English
  • Familiar with computer applications such as Word and Excel
